The organic mixed fruit baby food purée is made using organic pears, apples and apricots sourced from Italian orchards.
The clean, simple recipe, specially developed so as not to alter the flavour of the fresh fruit, provides nutrition for infants without the use of flavourings, starches, colorants and preservatives, sweetened by nothing other than sugars naturally contained in the fruit
All baby purées are prepared at our factory certified for the production of food for infants. Fruit is washed, mashed and cooked to obtain a fine purée. The packaged jars are heat treated to guarantee stability over time. Alce Nero baby mixed fruit purée is gluten free.
Alce Nero products are compliant with EU baby food regulation “Directive 2006/125/EC on processed cereal-based foods and baby foods for infants and young children“.
This means that products destined to specific categories of consumers (infants and young children) are properly produced, eventually enriched with specific vitamins and the presence of both vitamins, minerals but also pesticides residues arewithin mandatory fixed values (see annex VI of attached documents).
Additionally, we produce ORGANIC baby food and this means that limits for pesticides are also adherent to organic EU regulations.
Then, in the specific case of heavy metals, we refer to EU Reg 1881/2006 and subsequents, where different limits for each contaminant in specific food are defined.
